Floriza is a social and behavioral scientist focusing on gender and gender-based violence in Latin America, the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa. Working for numerous organizations (including the WHO, UNFPA, the World Bank and academic institutions) she has experience in many issues including education, disaster risk management, and sexual and reproductive health.

She will share her insights and expertise as part of the Great Women Leaders and Resilience panel on Dec. 8th.
