Fernanda is passionate about telling stories of women. She is a prize-winning film-maker from Mexico who focuses on sharing authentic voices of indigenous women in a creative and engaging style.  She is member of the global initiative Free The Bid, which promotes the participation of women filmmakers: https://www.freethebid.com/directors/fernanda-galindo/  In 2009, she received the scholarship of Young Creators to write her first feature film, developing as a screenwriter and director from this date, and has won various prizes for her films.  Fernanda is currently doing a Masters in humanities with a specialty in Fine Arts at the University of Sonora to compliment her Masters in Documentary Making.
